WHAT IS A MOLLY BOARD?
A Molly Board is comfort food, artfully done! It is a board of abundance beaming with artistically arranged vibrant colors, patterns and shapes that pull people together and become a conversation piece. We always use locally sourced and seasonal fresh produce, artisanal meats, gourmet cheeses, olives, nuts, fruits, specialty jam and every other accompaniment you can crave! We offer individual mini boxes for 1 as favors or gifts, up to 10 ft. live-edge custom spreads.
HOW WE GOT STARTED
For years, Molly enjoyed creating her own charcuterie spreads for family and friend gatherings. After hearing so many times "you should really sell these" a lightbulb went off and Molly Boards was born! After throwing away the scissors and a long-established career in the hair industry, Molly decided to rent out a commercial kitchen in Point Pleasant Beach and put her skills to the test. Relying solely on social media to advertise her work, word spread fast and Molly formed a small team to keep up with demand. On this team was her sister, Carrie. Carrie believed in Molly's vision so much that she herself resigned from a 15 year career with the State of New Jersey to become a full-time partner in Molly Boards. The pair knew the next step needed to be a brick and mortar shop. Remodeling a store front on Arnold Avenue in Point Pleasant Beach from floor to ceiling, the duo put their heart and soul into creating a space that is a direct reflection of their passion and love towards local business and food as an art.
